If we really believed the things we asked would happen, we would pray. In my most worn book,The Power of Prayer In The Believer's Life by Charles Spurgeon, there is a discussion of the reasons why our prayers ar not answered..all biblical.Do believe that the one time in our christian experience when we have to look God in the face is when we pray, and it is so much easier to "be busy."Spurgeon talks about the things that hinder our prayers, and these seem to be the same things that cause us to doubt that our prayers will be answered, or to go to God in prayer. So sad to feel that way when He is so waiting to hear and help us. When we do it, and why we do it is of little concern, as long as we do it, with love.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
